“Beatrice Allegranti’s work is aesthetically complex…emotionally and intellectually engaging”. Henriette Thune, Feminist Review for Becoming Bodies.
Beatrice Allegranti has experience of UK and international film, live dance, choreography and installation projects spanning two decades. Influenced by her clinical experience in dance movement psychotherapy, her artistic work combines compositional, psychotherapeutic, feminist and posthumanist approaches – emphasising the multi layered, linear and socio-political aspects of everyday life, movement and language. Allegranti’s practice is marked by extensive collaboration with artists and scientists and her work has been shown in a variety of public venues that range from traditional theatres to art galleries, university lecture theatres, science venues and hospitals. Listed below are works from the beginning of this century.
